Clara May Denton

Clara May Denton, 75, of Rockville, passed away January 27, 2002. She was born December 23, 1946 in Harpers Ferry, W VA, twin daughter of Robert and Jenny (Kowanski) Bell.

Clara attended Ferris College in Big Rapids, MI.

Before retiring, Clara worked with McBroom Electric, Indianapolis. Previously, she worked at Mobile Drill more than 15 years also in Indianapolis.

Clara enjoyed attending to her flower gardens and reading, particularly science fiction, mysteries, and romance novels. She loved to cook and was known for her delicious meat and potato meals.

In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Bell and 3-year-old son, Robert Stafford.

Survivors include her husband, David Denton; sons, James Stafford, John Stafford, and Tom (Natalie) Stafford; 2 grandchildren; and twin sister, Sarah (Steve) Rakowski.

To honor Clara’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
