Thomas Neal Hoerger

Thomas Neal Hoerger, 72, of Speedway, Indiana, passed away July 21, 2025, in Plainfield Indiana. He was born on April 28, 1953, in Indianapolis, Indiana, son of the late Jack L Hoerger and Anna Laura (Bills) Hoerger. 

He attended Speedway High School and graduated in 1972.  In his early years, Tom worked at Esterline Angus on Main Street, Speedway and later worked part time at Kroger’s. 

Tom was a member of Speedway Christian Church.  His favorite hobby was following the INDY Racing League races including helping to park cars for those going to the track. 

He is survived by his brother, James L Hoerger and brother-in-law, Adam B Hubbard. 

Burial will take place in West Ridge Cemetery, Indianapolis.

In lieu of Flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ’s Promise United Church of Christ, Building Fund, 1145 US Highway 92W, Auburndale, Florida 33823.
